Takes place in 2024. DOFP took place in 2023. Logan and Charles have had a ROUGH year since that end scene talking in the office in new time line.

That 2024 bit came from The Wrap. They could be right, but it's not confirmed. Neither the studio nor the director has said it's 2024. They did confirm that it takes place after DoFP though.

No one has said that it takes places in 2024 other than fans guessing. The only thing that has been said is that it takes place after the epilogue of DOFP.
