I really liked her and her scenes. She is great as a figure of power who's allegiances are ambiguous. She has such a cool look too, it almost feels like she belongs in a comic book.

Ever see Labyrinth? The mini-series, not the Jim Henson homosexual jerkfest. Can't talk about Katie without bringing up the time she got buggered while a dog watched. Her droopy tits were flying, what a consummate actress.

Really like the idea of her on the show and enjoyed her in the first ep. I do hope she gets to play the villain though, rather than a twist that she's not as bad as Lex.
Would be very cool if she got her own Mercy (or even Otis) as a bodyguard after the events of ep 1, regardless.

She was. I have only seen her on Merlin and she was great there. I think she does a good job at portraying evil characters or characters in the middle of light and darkness. If they give her character a good script i think as a viewer i will be satisfied.

lol. Yes, I have watched the show again after I wrote that and I now realize Katie is 'trying' to speak American and as much as I love her, I must admit, I'm still able to hear her Irish accent.

i love Katie! i'm a big fan. i thought she was great in this first ep of SG! she hid her native Irish accent perfectly in this ep whereas on the mini-series SLASHER the Irish accent came through very frequently (despite the fact her character was supposed to be 100% American).
