He already is. Thats the only type of character he has ever played. Its pretty cool considering he's the nicest guy in real life.

Love Dorn's attitude but makes me miss Singh. And Dorn's presence is good and bad: he'll keep CCPD in the mix but still no CSIBarry.

Why do so many American shows make thr lab tech person British? Just an observation.

My suspicion is that they are going to play off that and make it look an awfully lot like he is Alchemy all season long. And then near the end, they'll reveal that he is a less megalomaniacal guy with the Lex Luthor complex - someone who doesn't trust metas and wants to make sure humans are protected from them. He'll probably end up being a foe of the Flash not as a villain, but as a legit "law and order" type who wants to shut down the Flash's vigilantism. Until the Flash saves him, he sees the error of his ways, just long enough to die while helping the Flash.
Tom did kill it on tonight's episode though. I could see myself rooting for him by the end of his arc

Not just a bad guy, but a character named Alchemy when Felton is most well known for Harry Potter. It would be way too easy for it to be Julian.

I just hope he isn't Dr. Alchemy (even though he probably is). Bringing in an actor associated with playing nothing but bad guys and having him being the "twist" mysterious bad guy is kind of lame.
I hope he's like a red herring and Alchemy is somebody else.

I've only seen him in HP (which I enjoyed) and Planet of the Apes. He plays hateful well, so I'm looking forward to his disdain toward Barry

Super excited. And those prods can evade as much as they want there is no way he isn't Alchemy no way. Despite that I am so looking forward to seeing exactly what they do with his character. Plus we get to see Barry working as a CSI and hopefully showing his smarts a lot more which is always a good thing. Give me all the Barry and Julian showdowns or them trying to one up each other.

The show is a bit low brow compared to the work some of his other HP co-stars are getting. But I am excited to see him in this show, I've only ever seen him in HP films though.

I am. Is he on tonight's episode? Hopefully, we get fewer Star Lab scenes. There were way too many of them last season and when I rewatched recently it was glaringly obvious. They had a group meeting in the every five minutes and it just looked off compared to season one.
I agree about the greater focus on Barry just being a CSI. We all but lost that season two and the writers have to know how dumb they've made him look now. Reverse Flash said so last episode. I'm thinking that was tongue in cheek.
