After seeing Luke Cage, I'm fairly certain that Claire is going to be the character that draws all The Defenders together. She mentions that she should introduce Luke to "A lawyer friend" several times.

at THIS point, i agree with you. matt has a long way to go, in terms of social skills. however, claire has zero chemistry with luke and ultimately, i also agree with this:

I think the whole point of her fling with Matt was to show just how incapable Matt currently is at sustaining a relationship, something that's only compounded by Karen and Elektra in Season 2. Luke is, socially, far more stable than Matt is and if I were Claire I'd pick him no question.
