Yep, Gotham seems to have garnered much higher ratings, and it doesn't even have Batman. Plus, it has to compete with Monday Night Football.

I like both shows. But overall, I have to say Gotham is better.

Gotham can literally use all the cool names, it's only problem is forcing all of them. With the way the show is now, there's absolutely no need for Batman as the GCPD seem very capable of handling every situation. They do have some great actors on it, though. And making Ivy more and more Poison Ivy like wasn't a bad idea. It's actually quite enjoyable to watch, when you don't see it as a Batman show. You won't ever see any of the finished products as we know them (Strange and Freeze came close). Ratings will reach a new high for them when Jerome/Joker comes back.

As a Batman fan, I had problems watching the first season because of the changes they made. Barbara was annoying even in the first few eps, a fact that helps nothing. The only character I felt got their due was Selina.

And this season has been fantastic! I'm really happy for the show and everyone involved that the ratings are getting higher. It is indeed much better than all the other DC shows airing currently.
