I would love to see a DCEU movie with a RT of 60% or more that does not seem like too much to ask does it? I know that means that DC would have to produce a movie which has a score that is better than 2016 movies combined but other CBM franchises do that all the time.

I assumed the OP was talking about the critic Tomatometer %, this has nothing to do with fans, or the appearance of Iron Man - just critics opinions of the quality. Of course I could be wrong, since RT also has an audience rating. Which was it, OP?

Spider-man's worst film has a 52%RT score. This new film will have an appearance from Iron Man, who is now the darling of CBMs. And the last time we saw this version of the web head was in Civil war. A film currently at 90%RT.
Fans approve. DCEU's last film is at 26%RT.
It's an easy prediction to make.

Thor (co-starring Hulk) director Taika Waititi's last film scored a nifty little 98% on RT. Based on that and what sounds like a fun change of pace, I'm going to go on a limb and call Thor the RT% winner.

Yes I know - I was just reacting to Hassan's claim that Spider-Man was "a lock". Critical reaction at this point is just a guess. Box office is a little more predictable.

I didn't say people's predictions had to be accurate.

How can you predict up to a year in advance how critics will rate any movie with such certainty? The trend would certainly suggest the MCU movies will do well and the DCEU movies, not so much, but how is Spider-Man a lock to get better reviews than all the others?

Sometimes I almost think it would be worth them having a critically well received movie just to be able to bait them for being hypocrites.

Ragnarok sounds pretty good to me. I don't see why it won't be significantly better than the previous Thor movies, although admitedly, that doesn't mean much.

Spider-Man: Homecoming - July 7, 2017 at least 90% due to hype
