I recently saw this series on TVLAND several months ago. Although kind of cheesy, it was good for 70s shows and had a moral. I wish this was on DVD. It's something that would be good to watch and as well as be a good superhero show with morals that younger kids could watch. I hope this comes to dvd soon!

They only released the first 6 episodes. I don't know what's wrong with WB, they expect a 6 episode DVD to outsell Justice League season sets? They must be crazy. This show NEEDS full season sets to be released. It's about time WB realized that.
They could make a DTV movie. If they make "The Static/Titans Movie" it could probably out sell "trouble in tokyo". I'd rather see a DCAU version of the Teen Titans anyway.

The DVD's for this show infuriate me. I only picked up the first one when it was on sell since it only contains "5 episodes", but even that was a lie. Turns out it only contains 3 episodes! The run time on the DVD box is a lie too.

Not true. Screw-On Head, based on the Mignola one-shot, had a pilot (actually released online) which has now made it's way onto DVD. Ten bucks for 22 minutes isn't that cheap, but it's got some great commentary and a behind-the-scenes feature.
We got this because of the fans. They kept pushing for it, and eventually got the release. Keep trying with Global Frequency; maybe we'll get lucky.

Nobody would ever release a show that didn't make it past it's (one episode) pilot. Sad, but it may get picked up in the future.

The only DVDs available are pirated versions, recorded directly from the series' TV run. It would be much better if there was an official boxset (2-3 DVDs?) that collected the first season, possibly including a featurette that gave details about the unreleased second season (script overviews, concept art, etc).
Who currently owns the license, and what would need to be done in order to get a DVD release approved?
