I watched a little as a kid when it originally aired, I was more caught up in Teen Titans. But, I never found this terrible. Batman TAS was amazing and probably will never be touched but rewatching this on Netflix it's still better than some of the cartoons/animated series' I've seen in today's television.

Same here. I thought the designs were ugly. I like the batman TAS style or batman beyond.

I could never get into, and I tried. I don't like the character designs, I don't like most of the voice acting, I don't like the look of the show in general and I don't like how forced the dark tone felt.

I'm really liking this show. I'm on the last season now. I love the gadgets and how it's decently written. I thought it was goin to be bad, nothing could top TAS, but lo and behold it's captivating. And I like how the justice league is in it at the end, it was definetely evolving as it went on.

The show's alright. It has quite a few good points even. But the biggest problem I have with it is how quickly the supervillians get out again after being locked up. Batman faced the Joker multiple times in the first two seasons, for example, and always caught him at the end of every episode in which he faced him. I know the show is just a cartoon, and meant to be enjoyed by kids, but even kids can spot flaws like this why would Joker keep getting sent back to Arkham when it obviously can't hold him? Seriously, there was one episode, in season 2, where Batman put him away, and he's out again to be the villain
in the very next episode.
The same applies to the Penguin. He was
really
overused as as well.
The only other issue I have with the series really, is that Batman has way too much trouble with low-level thugs. Episodes where he fights Joker, or the Ventriloquist, and so on, this is
the freaking Batman
he should be able to deal with their goons with very little problem, but over and over again, you see him having a hard time with them.

No its not bad. The show was Batman for kids. Thats what it was for. Nothing wrong with that.
Only people who love Batman TAS gives this show a hardtime.

I'm sure the reason he wasn't in there was something to do with Nolan's trilogy. Don't know why.

Tell me about it, I can't even understand why Mad Hatter wasn't even in all 5 seasons for this show. As I said, it's not like Chris Nolan had access to Mad Hatter when he was making his Batman Flicks.

I agree on that, although this is when Cartoon Network started to not know what to do with Superhero series, canceling them left and right.

To be honest, i thought it was a good show and the character designs for the Batman Cartoon never bothered me but what really bothered me the most was some of the other Bat-foes never made into the show do to some stupid bat-embargo like Mad Hatter, Two-Face, Scarecrow, Ra's al ghul and Talia, among others. It's not like Chris Nolan had access to Mad Hatter when he was making his Batman Flicks.
