Batman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Doctor Fate all make an appearance. But no Wonder Woman? So disrespectful.

I just pretend Lois must've read about the "Wonder Woman" during World War II who helped the Blackhawks.
Works for me.

I think at the time there was some rule that Wonder Woman couldn't just be a guest star, she had to either be the lead or one of the leads, a rule that her creator's family had installed after apparently being very unhappy with a guest appearance she had on the late 80s Superman cartoon.
There is a continuity error though in the episode dealing with Mala & Jax-Ur (spelling?) where Mala makes a comment about being an ideal partner for Superman and Lois Lane gets all snark and says "Yeah and I'm Wonder Woman"
