When a tiny Japanese woman is fighting alongside Wolverine, and she's doing just as much damage as he is.to me, that takes away from his epic-ness.
This happens in almost every action film these days (except Terminator Genisys, my favorite movie by far this year). Yes, I honestly think Schwarzenegger and Stallone make the only action movies where this doesn't happen.
Agree or disagree? Do you like seeing the woman as an equal partner and just as tough as the main hero??

Disagree. And if the word 'tiny' fits someone, that is the original Wolverine from the comics.

That's probably why. Someone that is indestructible, with a healing factor, adamantium bones and razor-sharp claws on each hand need not concern himself with the finer points of combat, just rush at them and start swinging. Killing is easy, not getting killed is the harder part.

Wolverine isn't actually much of a fighter, if he wasn't indestructible, he would have died several times during this movie
so many movies, so little time

She's smaller, quicker ands better trained fighter. Wolverine gets his ass kicked in this movie because he's just an indestructible brute that swings his claws around.

Disagree! I loved the strong female characters added to the fact that the film isn't filled with other mutants. In terms of his "epic-ness", well much of the film has Wolverine contemplating his own mortality. In that respect I guess he might be considered as Wolverine - Lite, thus the ongoing joke about him requiring Yukio as a body guard.

He's not saying that was Psylocke, he's saying that Wolverine has paired with equally skilled and dangerous females.
Also, Yukio wasn't just as tough Wolverine. She was skilled, but Shingen was way out of her league; she was running most of their duel, trying to protect Logan and stay alive at the same time.

Disagree. In the comics, Psylocke and Wolverine have a connection. Both mental and comradeship. And she's just as dangerous as he is. That's why she was one of his first recruits to his X-Force team.
Granted, Psylocke isn't exactly tiny, but Logan has always had a little badass sidekick at times.
