Am I going nuts or is the fireman with the line "What's he gonna do, fly 'em down one at a time?" not listed in the cast here at all? The reason I'm looking for him is because I could swear blind (and I've been wrong before) that he is played by an actor called Mike Newman who was in some British TV comedy/revue shows in the 70's/early 80's. Specifically he was in 3 2 1 where he was in loads of the scenes acted in front of the contestants who were quizzed on them. He was in probably a load more stuff like the Bernie Winters show but 3 2 1 is the only one I know for sure he was in. I could have sworn that's who this fireman is. Is he credited here or not?

Yeh, I read that somewhere - possibly on his imdb page. He also gets some decent screen time in Superior Fire-power - The Making of Aliens

He was in fact a Marine sergeant in the Vietnam war which would explain why James Cameron hired him for Aliens. In fact he was the first black Marine to make sergeant.

I know for a fact that some of the firefighters in that scene were actual firemen & not actors. The chemical plant scene was filmed either in Calgary or Alberta, so they were extras. The black guy was an actual actor named Al Matthews who narrated the Making of Superman III.
