Sometimes when I watch AOS I think of Mutant X. I often think that Shalimar would work well in their environment. I think Marvel owns Mutant X so it could still happen.

Possibly The Tommorrow People and Heroes. They're both origin stories, too.
Mind you, Heroes got screwed by the writer's strike and didn't really live up to the promise made by the first season and The Tomorrow People only got one season.
