I thought the Greek gods were immortal so how does Ares die? And is the Artemis character supposed to be the goddess Artemis or just an Amazon named Artemis? It's more confusing since Diana is the Roman name for Artemis. Also isn't Hippolyta usually said to be Ares's daughter? This definitely does not appear to be so in this. Where did Hippolyta come from in this story?
