On whirring wings comes Howard the Duck,
So his movie bombed - who gives a beep.
A feather in Lucas' Jedi helm
For dragging this fowl midget to the realm
Of the blockbuster summer action flick
Where else can you see a bird screwing a chick?
Howard, a seventies media fad,
Those old marvel comics were really quite bad;
Dull edged satires of forgotten names
Like Anita Bryant - the jabs were too tame.
Lucas thought he could make him a star;
Put him onstage with his own guitar.
How about Duckworld- that girl in the tub
Showing her duck boobs: rub a dub dub.
