<p dir="auto">I think most of the criticism  stems from people expecting it to cater to adults. But this is clearly a<br />
DC Animated Universe (DCAU)<br />
movie which is clearly catered to kids aged 12 or below..<br />
As opposed to<br />
DC Universe Animated Original<br />
movies which is catered to adults and has more matured themes, i.e., JL: War, JL: God vs Monsters, Son of Batman etc.<br />
So there's no point criticizing this movie unless you're looking through a 12 year-old eyes. For me I'm happy enjoying both series by looking at them through a different lenses- while waiting for DC's live action movies!!</p>
