In the shopping montage, how does Kara have pierced ears? She doesn't come to Earth with earrings and we can assume that any holes she may have had would've closed up on her journey here, right?

I thought that was odd, too. The earrings must have been clip-ons then, if it wasn't just a big goof.

I noticed that too. Its definitely a goof that they overlooked for the shopping montage. She would be unable to pierce her tough Kryptonian ears.
Unless on Krypton, they have the same style of fashion and her ears were already pierced. They would not show up pierced in every scene, as there is a limit to what you can animate without it looking weird.
