Although her scene was brief, I was intrigued by the chemistry between Amora and Loki
(dammit Thor, did you have to interrupt their kiss???)
. I had wondered who was Loki's sorcery teacher after I had watched "Thor", and I was pleasantly surprised that "Tales of Asgard" answered my question. (From what I understand, this cartoon was meant to be a tie-in with the live-action film, so it's supposed to be closer to the movieverse than the comics.)
Considering that the film version of Loki was underappreciated by his family and friends, it was nice for me to see that he had a supportive instructor who valued and praised his sorcery skills. I suspect that he may have even picked up some of Amora's charm and "naughty" behaviour
(it's extremely inappropriate for a tutor to seduce a pupil, let alone the prince of Asgard!)
, and this further fueled his fondness for mischief and deception. It was an interesting dynamic, IMHO, and I was disappointed that she didn't have a second scene in "Tales of Asgard".
Now that a "Thor" sequel is in the works, does anyone think the writers might expand on this idea and show that there's an attraction between Loki and Amora/the Enchantress (assuming that both characters appear in the movie)? I don't really expect it to be a romance per se, but I'd like to see hints that there are a lot of sparks between them.

Looks like Frigga from T:TDW has a stronger hand in giving the MCU Loki some of his "special" talents also.
Under new management!

True, but in Norse Mythology, Loki wasn't the only male who knew magic. Odin himself also knew magic, yet nobody questions his masculinity about it.

Makes sense. In Norse culture, magic was considered a woman's art, beneath the dignity of a man to practice.

Loki was smitten with the Enchantress since their first team up but he knew she wasn't into it and they couldn't trust each others.
In the backstory comics (Son of Asgard) is revealed Loki's the only male student in the magical classes.

I always saw Amora and Loki suited for each other. I could never see Thor and Amora together, they are just too different.

I'm ok with your idea. In fact, there are still questions left unanswered, such as why does Thor go on to be the hero while Loki becomes the villain. The influence of their respective lovers is one logical explanation.
