I can't say I didn't like the parts that he had in the film, in spite of its flaws. It would be nice to see the Punisher in a genuinely good animated feature, where I thought he would do best in the first place.

Being a fan does not make your voice any special. your title is nothing but pretentiousness and entitlement.
The punisher was fine. it moved the (stupid as it was) plot forward and dissapeared. thats it.
Applied Science? All science is applied. Eventually.

Got that right, but as always, there's a few or one typical dumbass IMDB user that just ignores the facts (like the links that VampireWraith showed) to something like this it's sad. I mean really that's Strazdamonas's argument to this??? Oh please I mean show me one Punisher issue or appearance in someone's else title since the 1970's or 80's where he looked like this I'll save you the trouble you won't find it.
Not only did the Punisher look unrecognizable, but he seemed to have Matrix style training by being able to fire his weapon without taking cover or even aiming, and shooting behind him without looking while driving at high speeds. This is just as bad as in War Zone where he hung upside down spinning around and shooting his weapons at the same time. I also didn't care about the voice actor, they only got him to cash in on his zombie fame.
Marvel did anime comic versions of several characters back in the early 2000's and it sucked ass and they still haven't learned their lesson

If they ever do another animated film that involves him, hopefully the Punisher will look far more recognizable. What the hell is so hard about this look that he's had since 2000 or even before that
Clean cut and short hair that's slicked back not a teenage 90's hairstyle with tan skin. Even the War Zone film (that sucked) manage to get that right.

I hope they incoporate the Punisher character more into the cinematic universe but since his demeanor and way of punishment instead of justice would garner a mandatory R rating which I could never see Disney wanting to pull the trigger on (no pun intended)
"Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No, not vengeance. Punishment"

The only interesting part in this Iron Man animation was the Punisher helping out
Sweet, but too short
They might as well do a full Punisher animation
Or bring the character into the larger Marvel Avengers film universe
If not for the Avengers, then for a support character, in one of the solo films
My dream would be a film adaptation of
"THE PUNISHER: MOTHER RUSSIA"
That would also involve agents of SHIELD, and Nick Fury
I love how in that comic book event, Fury organized a very public release of an obvious very guilty prisoner, all this as bait to lure out the Punisher from hiding, just to recrute him for a special mission into Russia
