It seems all Spidey did was fight villians that werent his own. Dr. Doom, Magneto hell even Red Skull.
And he takes them all down himself, whats the deal?

He fought the Lizard, Doc Oc, Chameleon, Vulture and the Sandman. Are those not Spidey Villains? If they aren't then I don't know which ones are.
You are right about one important thing though. Spider-Man spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME fighting the archnemesis of other heroes for his standalone series.
(I found it on Netflix too btw. Surprised the heck outta me because I'd never heard of it and I remember seeing 'Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends' when I was six years old. That's syndication for ya.)
Its a planet-destroying superlaser. How well does it need to be calibrated?
