I loved this movie, but I haven't read the comics. And infact this was the first solo Superman movie I ever saw.
I would say it did a good job as it got me more interested in the character.

Well Compare to the original book. It dose suck. On its own its O.k.. But i would have been so much better. If the stop sticking with Cartoon Network demanded running time of 90 minutes. They should have done what there doing with the Dark Knight Returns.
