Dinah's powers advanced to fast - It makes for bad writing in future seasons! IE Heroes they couldn't go anywhere with Peter P on Heroes so they wiped all the powers - You cant make a character able to win every battle with a snap of a finger; its cool but its not entertaining in television episode plots!

Her powers developed VERY quickly because they knew that the show WILL end. Thats why it seemed like her psionic blast came out of nowhere in the final episode.they had to rush EVERYTHING.
