Am I not the only one who thought that at some point Allan and Orlando would have come across a story, urban myth whatever, about a woman in an insane asylum who didn't age?

I noticed that, too! I thought that was a nice touch. I really do hope this series gets rebooted, it would make an incredible pair of trilogies (I don't know what you call a 6-ogy, but it would have to be one.)

I liked how it echoed the ending of V2, with Alan sitting on his own feeling abandoned by Mina and the others.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the downbeat ending and how it basically showed how helpless the League was without Mina but at the same time, I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have heard
something
in those eight years.

I wouldn't call it a plot hole, though it does strain credulity somewhat that they couldn't trace her in 8 years.
Re Tom Riddle, I'm surprised they've not been sued by JK Rowling who is famously litigious and protective of her creations.

Well, the last sequence only took place a few years after the bulk of the story. I imagine that in LXG (Century: 2009) they'll address this.
And did you totally lose your sh!t when you realized that Haddo becomes Voldemort? Because I totally lost my sh!t when I realized that Haddo becomes Voldemort. Hands down my favorite issue yet.
