I definitely think that Colossus should have been in more episodes along with Gambit because he is a great character and we rarely see Colossus in any animated X-Men tv series (well, he was in the original 90s series, but only for a short time). The show is great and all, but I think it would have been better if Gambit and Colossus were in the show more often.
