In my Identity Crisis is definitely one of the best DC comic Novels ever, and if they do another Justice League that's what it should be.
Identity Crisis is remotely like New Frontier in that is done by Fans of the Silver Age, to remind of that period, but it's Much Different in that it's Ultimately about the Loss of The Innocence of that period, which would make it a great Thematic Follow up to New Frontier (Thou not in Continuity) and since the OMAC project is going to be the Plot for the Upcoming Live Action Justice League Films, an Animated New Frontier could serve almost as a sort of Prequel, especially since the WB always has an Animated project to accompany each Live Action big Screen movie they do.
It's story is Dramatic with lots of Depths but not really Epic in the strictest Sense and is perhaps one of the few that could work with the WB's stupid 75 Minute Time Limit, thou I'd still obviously prefer they abandoned that. And there are some scenes that do seem Useless to me which I wouldn't mind them dropping, like the Scene early on between Nightwing and Starfire (the scene is great but they don't really Contribute anything major to story after that).
However there are some things they may want to add for the General Public like a Brief Dialog Scene explaining the History of the Robins, since Tim Drake plays such an Important role and most in the General Public don't know there has been more then just Dick Grayson, or maybe a quick Flash Back scene of Wally as Kid Flash encountering the Pathetic Version of Dr.Light, since non Comic Readers aren't likely to Understand his Legacy.
Anyways here are some Voice Casting Ideas, some of their really are designed to fit in with the Inspirations the Writer's Talked about in their Commentary in the Collection, and others are actualy returning from New Frontier, even thou it's no in Continuity with it, I feel it fits cause of what I said before..
Superheroes
Ryan Reynolds-Wally West/The Flash
Patrick Warburton-Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
Dick Van Dyke-Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
Tim Daly-Ray Palmer/The Atom
James Lafferty-Time Drake/Robin
Kyle MacLachlan-Clark Kent/Kal-El/Superman
Jeremy Sisto-Batman/Bruce Wayne
Michelle Trachtenberg-Zatana Zatara
Lacey Chabert-Dinah Lance/Black Canary
Will Friedle-Kyle Rayner/The Green Lantern
Kevin Conory-Carter Hall/Hawkman
Miguel Ferrer-J'onn J'onzz/The Martian Manhunter
Neil Patrick Harris-Barry Allen/The Flash
David Boreanaz-Hal Jordan/The Green Lantern
Supervillains
James Woods-Noah Kuttler/The Calculator
James Marsters-Merlyn
Tom Kane-George "Digger" Harkness/Captain Boomerang
Christopher McCulloch-Dr. Arthur Light (Basically in his "The Monarch" Voice)
Mark Harmon-Slade Wilson/Deathstroke
Jim Meskimen-Floyd Lawton/Deadshot
Ted Lewis-Jonathan Cheval/Monocle
Loves Ones
Paul Johansson-Jack Drake
Lesley Ann Warren-Jean Lorgin
Mary Tyler Moore-Sue Dibny
Shane Haboucha-Owen Mercer
Kyra Sedgwick-Lois Lane
David McCallum-Alfred Pennyworth
Wonder Woman, Nightwing and many other heroes and villains will appear but no voices will be provided, similar to how some characters where handled in New Frontier.
If I come up with more I'll update the Thread.
Let's put a smile on that face Hehehahahaha!

Ah very true indeed. The silverage wasn't for everyone though, as pointed out with your comparison with your father and hardcore/casual fans. I must say though, i thoroughly enjoyed the romp it took us on, especially with how they dealt with batman and the flash.
As much as I like ollie, i just felt that there were too many characters used that hardcore fans ( i don't really use that term often ) knew about, but the rest of the world would be left scratching their heads. New frontier had everyone in there that everyone knew. The flash, Hal Jordan ( best book out on the market now is GL ), supes ( for the 10 - 15 minutes he was there before gettin knocked out ), aquaman ( lol 3 seconds! ) bats, etc.
Martian Manhunter was freaking awesome, i have to admit. And working him into it made it that much more awesome.
But thus far, the Dibneys, Tim Drakes dad, and boomerang would probably leave fans thumping the ground like a pack of angry gorillas, not for any detrimental effects of the plot in its whole, but the lack of understanding on who these people are and why they were so important to the story.
sorry, G. Been busy with school.

The way is uses lesser known characters was part of the appeal thou, these DTV movies largely are meant more for hard core fans then casual ones, look at New Frontier, my Dad didn't get it at all.

I liked the comics but i dont think i want to see it in a movie format. It was cool for a read, but as cool as the atom is, i don't think people would be able to decipher the relationship between Ray and his ex-wife ( not to mention the dibneys, probably a handful of kids will know who he is, besides seeing him in a cameo in batman: B&B).
Rag Morales based them on real people, it'd be a trip if all those actors/actresses really filled in the roles.
And the rape scene i don't think people are quite ok with that. ( not to mention the use of doctor light. we know he went through many variations, but i've asked one of my students, and they have no inkling on who that is )

I don't think we have to worry about Kingdom Come. I read somewhere that Bruce Timm said the only way they would touch it is if they could get the animation to look exactly like Alex Ross's painting of that story and they don't think it can be done.
I'd love to see Kingdom Come but if they made it animated they have to waive that dumb ass 75 minute rule just for this film.
The Dark Knight Returns: In my opinion a movie version of that is every fan boys dream. Whether it's live action or animated. I guess Tim Burton wanted to do a live action version of DKR back in 89 but the studio told him no.
But it Timm and company were to animate this one, once again need to kiss that dumbass 75 minute rule goodbye.
I'd love to see a back to back actually Dark Knight Returns and the Dark Knight Strikes Again. I loved both those stories.
I would love to see the JSA. Preferably a period piece during WWII or predating WWII even. But a golden age story would be nice to see.

identity crisis would be perfect actually; if they could get all the characters in there in a way that wasnt retarded, like new frontier, and if they increased the time frame to a good 75 minutes

I don't think they'd use something so continuity heavy and that features such a large cast (the entire DCU)
It would just look like a 75 minute cluster%#$& and viewers that don't know the story won't know wtf is going on
Not to mention the fact that 2 of the stars are Superboys and Superboy is kind of off limits right now
I'd root for Kingdom Come, if only just to see those awesome Alex Ross character designs animated, but that would be hard enough to adapt to a 2 hour feature let alone 75 minutes

"I mean cause the WB is having enough trouble getting a Regular Justice League films done, a story like this they've never risk giving the Budget to do in Live Action, but in Animation it'd be fairly easy."
The only reason they are having a hard time doing a live-action Justice League movie is because the people behind it have no idea what they are doing. They're using second-rate actors where they should be using people with more acting chops and who would fit the parts.
"Superman/Doomsday was terrible, for more reasons then just how they trimmed it down, they made Plot changes, that actualy wates screen time, liek thier lame Jimmy subplot."
Superman/Doomsday isn't as bad as it could actually be. Just because they cut out a lot doesn't mean it is awful. But, I DO agree about the Jimmy Olsen subplot.
"If they Solos films their doing where at least Adaptations of specific Story-lines/Novels and not just Origin stories, I wouldn't be so Upset but when they announce, this whole DTV series it was presumable based on them bring classic comic stories to life, and that's why I'm so pissed about them Delaying an possibly even Abandoning Judas Contract for a lame Wonder Woman origin story film."
Superman/Doomsday isn't an origin story. It IS an adaptation of a specific storyline. It's just not adapted well.
"Death in The Family has the Iconic Moment of Death of Jason Todd which I'd love to see in a Comic Films someday, but the rest of the story around is horrible, Joker going to the middle east and becoming Iran's Ambassador to the UN is unbearable absurd."
You just said the same thing here that I already said. Although you said the whole storyline of Joker going to Iran is aburd which I don't agree with. Just the part about him becoming ambassador.

Identity Crisis, might be able to fit in the 75 Minute Time Limit, since it's only a 7 Volume Comic, they'd give them just over10 Minutes for each part, however I still find the 75 Minute time limit their using ridiculous.
If they Solos films their doing where at least Adaptations of specific Story-lines/Novels and not just Origin stories, I wouldn't be so Upset but when they announce, this whole DTV series it was presumable based on them bring classic comic stories to life, and that's why I'm so pissed about them Delaying an possibly even Abandoning Judas Contract for a lame Wonder Woman origin story film.
The Dark Knight Returns would make a Great Animated Film, so would Kingdom Come, or Our World's At War, of Whatever Happened to The Man of Tomorrow. But those I would hate to see compressed to fit a 75 Minute Time Limit, Identity Crisis might just be barley able to fit.

"I feel these should be for stories that for one reason or another could Never be done in Live Action."
This reasoning does not make sense to me. You said that you don't want anymore "solo stories" which I can understand, however, how is this being an emsemble film mean that it could not be done in live action? Have you not seen X-Men? Fantastic Four? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? A live-action superhero movie doesn't have to be relugated to just solo superheroes. Either is interchangeable. "A Death In The Family" would make for a good animated PG-13 Batman film. So would "Knightfall" and "The Death of Superman". "Superman/Doomsday" was a half-assed attempt to bring that story to life. Yes, the actual comics storyline may have a very rich plot but it could have been adapted well into a movie. I'm not saying that "Superman/Doomsday" was terrible, but it was nothing spectacular either. I'd probably give it a C+. A good attempt, but needed more work put into it.
