First came Superman. Then came the feminine counter - Superwoman. Later Superboy emerged and perhaps to re-address a balance, Supergirl was introduced.
Now we have Superdog?!? A moronic addition to an already well milked francise. I guess we should expect Supercat soon too.

The series should have ended by showing Krypto all the other superman animals in other dimensions. Then having all their planets blow up, (except earth 1), while Krypto watches a glimpse of crisis on infinite earths.

KEYPTO has indeed been around for a long time and Supercat is tied into this series . I think the series is now suffering from rushed story lines and some really bad stories at that in the second year If the company doesn't do something to improve the storylines and stop the rushed plots Krypto may not have much of a future on CN

You make it sound like crypto is new Next time your in the comic store, thumb through some of the old superman re-prints they have out Krypto has been around since the 50's. And yes, there is a super cat and he has been around just as long.
I'll admit I think it's pretty cheezie too, but my 4 year old LOVES it - call me crazy, but I think that's about the age group this show is aimed at.

There is also a super-horse. I can't remember his name though. And I think that there was a super-monkey. There was a time where there was a lot of "Super" beings. "Crisis on Infinite Earths" was supposed to get rid of a lot of those super-beings. They even did away with (for a little while at least) Supergirl.
I believe that this maxi-series came out in '86. Never heard of superwoman. There was a Batwoman, Batgirl (twice) bathound, bathorse etc. etc.

He originally came from krypton and was also Supergirls pet, well that's what i remember.
