I just finished watching planet hulk.. why is this green hulk talking more like human and being smarter..isnt the grey one suppose to be like that? anyways it was a good movie.

originally the Hulk was stupid but extremely strong (Hulk Smash!)
then there was grey Hulk (around issue 325) who was smarter, but not as strong or as big as the original
then they introduced the new Hulk (issue 377), big and bad and smart

What did they do to him..last I read the hulk was in the 70's he was dumb as stump..new hulk is all new to me.

I believe that the more time he spent on that planet the hulk and the banner side of him were beginning to merge on some level mentally. In the comic banner let the hulk take the reigns so to speak, and they were both of the same mind when wanting revenge against the illuminati for what they did to him.
