I just watched ApokolipsNow part 2 and I noticed they cut out the parts where superman was being bitten by the freaky flying creatures, if what I remember at least, and I thought, "oh okay, they took out some violent scenes" but, then I saw later on Superman had blood on his face, something they even take out of animes sometimes and then they even showed Dan Turbin, the cop, blow up from Darkside's poweram I missing something? does disney just not like things biting other things?
And now, the end is near, and so I face, the final curtain

Disney always cuts the littlest things because adults are more paranoid about their children learning bad things these days
In the 70's 80's and somewhat 90's things were much different

If you never seen the cartoons then you wont notice it "much". However if you have seen it before; it will drive you batty. Some scenes are just so obvious its silly. I guess todays kids is truely a more softer weaker generation if they would edit an already kids cartoon. I havent seen this cartoon in years and watched a few episodes and noticed they cut out some parts. Including the final fight between darkseid and superman where he superman yells at him for murdering that cop and darkseid says he's a god. And then there are other minor things that I cant think of. Disney is a strange company.

They tend to look down on anything that can be duplicated. Biting can be mimicked by children, but obviously not death beams from the eyes.
