i geuss in some ways even tho its anoying they left it like that u can use your imagination on what happens

It's a great show, the feature length first episode is a little slow but it sets up a terrific story arc. The unresolved cliffhanger ending is unfortunate but if the DVDs sell well enough I wouldn't be suprised if we get another feature length episode to wrap up the the story.

i really like blade 1 and 2 but i coudnt stand blade trin but i loved the series just baught the series for less then 15 uncut good to see just a shame it wasent baught back for a second series

Dude this series kicks ass! Its a bit different from the films, not just cause of the actors but the way its filmed and the storylines are different too! I was quite unsure about this series being a fan of Blade and all, but I really must say this series took me by surprise and was really impressed! I just hope they continue the series!

completely agree there, i think they must have changed the coreographer for the fight scenes as the show went on, i thought sticky was abit to much of a brawler in the first couple of episodes, no martial arts skills but they both developed nicely, if you like dblade then you will like this, goyer did a pretty good job here, unlike blade 3 which concidering it was called blade barely starred him. Give it a go, its 13 in british shops, and is very enjoyable

I`m agreeing with the previous poster.It is indeed worth your time and money.Just accept it on its own terms.It is very different from the film series.

I watched the first 3 episodes when it aired and after a solid pilot i felt the next 2 were poorer. It wasn't helped by sharing a time slot with Heroes as that is a better show.
I started watching re-runs on tv and my opinion was changed leading to me buying the boxset. The series gets much better throughout and i find it really enjoyable and unrestrained. If you like the Blade series it's definetely worth a purchase.

First couple episodes are alright but the writing got better as the season progressed. The overall arc really turned out to be something else, hidden agendas and plot twists all over. Special effects were pretty good considering this was a TV show and not a big-screen film.
Sticky did a fine job as Blade- one bad mother. Fight scenes were enjoyable. His exchanges with Shen, his sidekick/armorer were great. You learn a lot more about Blade in this series than you do in the movies. Sticky's portrayal of Blade is what I picture in my head now whenever I think of the character.
Neil Jackson, who was in the role of Marcus Van Sciver, one of the heads of the vampire House of Chthon, was a fantastic villain. Seen in public as a great philanthropist, he is secretly a sinister bloodsucker. I hated this character in the beginning- sort of a vampire Donald Trump- but grew to really like this character later on.
Krista Starr, the other main character of the show, was pretty cool. You'll enjoy seeing the changes this character goes through throughout the series
I think you should definitely check the show out.

just watched the pilot eppisode, seems like it has potential, i know people gave it a hard time, but i think they expected it to live up to the standards of the movies, gotta remember it is a tv show, still, i wish it had Jessica Biel in it

Its worth it.It defenly is alot better then trinity.Has a great storyline.dived deeper into the vampire politics and more into the history of the 12 houses.Thats just my two cents.
