Did anyone see this episode last night on Boom?
This is my 1st time ever seeing it and it sent chills down my spine, especially the part where Joker threw Harley out the window! The slow motion really did it for me. Poor Harley (yeah she's pathetic but you had to feel bad for her). Who else was utterly creeped out by Batman laughing at her???
I thought this was much better than "Over the Edge"
Any thoughts?

Just watched this episode recently. I'm still trying to get caught up on all the episodes, but man this was far darker than I had expected. It was such a grand illustration of just how messed up Joker/Harley's relationship truly is. I just loved the moment when Batman tells Joker that Harley came closer to offing him than he ever did.

Apparently, this was based on a graphic novel the creators of the series made for DC. I don't think it was too long after that Harley became part of the regular DCU comics.

Thank God that episode got the recognition it deserved.

Hey there.
If I'm not mistaken, I think many people rated "Over the Edge" as the best, with "Growing Pains" coming in 2nd.
To me this was the best out of the both. For some reason I never saw "Mad Love" when it first aired years ago. This had to be the darkest episode with all the abuse that went on and the creepiness factor (c'mon, was I the only one creeped out with Bats laughing at Harley??????? I don't think I've ever heard Batman laugh before)
Overall, a very good episode, too bad it was the series finally

It was a creepy episode if you look at it the right way. Harley, despite her happy hi-jinx, is a very dark charactera combination psychopath/battered woman with an obsession on the one person she's found that's sicker than she is.
Sicker, but not as competent, as 'Mad Love' showed. The Joker is intelligent and resourceful, but he's too caught up in his theatrics to be the kind of stone cold killer that Harley could be. Notice the only reason that Batman got away was that she tried to emulate one of her puddin's schemes to please him?
