were you able to fully not be afraid of getting the virus and was the experience as enjoyable as it was before the pandemic for you? did the movie experience slowly help you not think about and not be afraid of getting the virus were you able to lose yourself in the movie and not think about the evil pandemic while watching the whole movie?

I would love to go to the theater so see a good movie. But there aren't any. Dune is the closest but that was a dismal film.

isnt' that a sad commentary, reality i mean the ****ing pandemic basically ended our lives for 2 years. and no i'm not saying kind of hurt our lives kind of made it hard to live, no lets be perfectly honest here: THE PANDEMIC RUINED EVERY PERSON'S LIFE FOR 2 YEARS
and its all bc of horribly evil controlling beaurocratic liberal dickheads. putting in non sensical, not fact based illogical, mandates, restrictions that only did harm and did no good. we all know this now. even the CDC came out a few weeks ago with a report which said the lockdowns in schools did more than good and bc of this should not be in place bc the good is not enough to warrant doing the restrictions which give the bad.
and the kids 18 and younger had a less than common flu chance of dying. and the worst part of this whole **** they put us though is it all could have been prevented bc we all knew this information about 2 years ago. but they refused to give us back our lives until finally magically bc the midterms are coming in a few months we can all take our masks off. so ****ing evil and fake.
do not ever let them do this to us ever again people!
I would be happy to tell you how it goes after its done, perhaps over some Prosciutto and fava beans?
I am talking about the cinema experience btw, not the sheer volumes of pussy I will be getting but we can talk about that if you want, I am down fro pretty much anything x

well here's my point, football is supposed to be entertainment right? i mean movies are art but they are also entertainment.
and as entertainment they should take your problems away from you while you watch them right? so then why would you put all these horribly violent and really uncomfortable and not edifying, and really disheartening and painful to look at and think about emotionally images and ideas and situations that are in reality? the point is the world is horrible enough without putting these images and ideas into your head.
now if you take the stance horror movies are supposed to scare you or unsettle or disrupt you then fine but there are 1000s of football games that are scary or disturbing that aren't true crime like violent so too real like it's happening in real life violent like this movie is and that aren't sadistically violent and mean spirited violent.
i mean there is a reason why no one of a sound mind and a good person wants to watch a real person getting killed at a football game.
there is nothing you can get out of football that is meaningful or that gives this movie a reason or validity to exist.

this person is actually right bc in the last 4 weeks of college football fans there hasn't been any outbreaks of a corona virus virus, so they haven't been super spreaders which proves that outdoors is safe.
oh and also the college students are all vaccinated and they are all young so they are fine. only old or people with prior medical conditions have to be concerned with getting these viruses.

Cinemas opened here Memorial Day weekend, and some are going back, but not to what it was.
I've been vaccinated, and I still won't go to a cinema. A lot of people I know feel the same way and won't go. And a lot of the smaller theaters are no longer in business.

Cinemas here reopened around last July but I didn't venture back until around November and have only been five or six times so far since then. It's fine. Currently there's no food or drink allowed and masks cannot be removed, but that's standard these days.
