Cinema isn't really dead, the term home cinema is more of a cultural thing now, and Damon is now aged and no longer the drawcard he was. He seems disappointed that he's not making the same profits by the sound of it. This happens to most stars as they get older.

It's sad that Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime charge a huge chunk of the producer's revenue for showing the film on their streaming platform some DVDs are basically obselete.

A Marvel movie or a monster movie of an already-established character, film adaptations of popular literature, or a reboot/sequel of an established popular character are guaranteed hits.
