I have read conflicting statements on her v111ciews on the Hollywood Blacklist. They state that she was anti-McCarthy (people who were Pro-McCarthy were regarded as Anti-Communists), but also state that she and Bogie distanced themselves from the Hollywood Ten. However, I read elsewhere that they denied being Communists, but never distanced themselves from the Hollywood Ten like Elia Kazan did.
I have no idea which is correct.
