Monica Vitti may have had a prettier face, but BB was far sexier all around. Vitti would be a perfect example of a "handsome" woman I think. Jeanne Moreau had savoir faire, and I would certainly do her, but she wasn't a natural sex kitten like BB was. Cardinale came close though. And then there's Anna Karina, who have also arguably had a prettier face, but BB had the better body and more natural sex appeal.

That's the thing with BB. She may not have had the most conventionally pretty face like Audrey Hepburn or Catherine Deneuve did, but she was pure sex on a stick more than anyone else.

Failed relationships do not mean a person lacks empathy (her ability to put herself in another's shoes).

Really? I know she admitted that she shouldn't have been a mother and that her son forgave her. Other than that can you tell me how she wasn't empathetic to people? I'm generally curious, I've only heard about her failures as a mother and her protests against religions killing animals in an inhumane manor.

There is nobody like her.
The way she walks and moves and dances in her movies is unique. I never saw another actress who came even close to her. Maybe Marilyn Monroe and Cathrine Deneuve, but not quite.
