Has anyone here seen the trailer for his most recent film Urge?
It looks really good, he is playing a supporting role but it's really something different from his bad ass action hero, if things turn out to go well he could get nominated for an oscar in a supporting role.
This truly looks as a scene stealing performance. he won't look sexy and its crazy evil role, not your typical cool collected guy from Butterfly on a wheel or Andy Osnard.
Its al Pacino crazy something quite similar to the devil's advocate but way much over the top. Like i said something we have never seen from him.
Not shooting guns, not eye candy, non fluff just pure evil craziness.
Im really exctied for this of critics buy it, could be his huge comeback somethings like what the Intouchables did for Sean Connery which revived his career in a big way but sadly would mean no more leading man lady killer roles.
Im exctied and sad at the same time.
Again excited because its a juicy supporting role and could give him a great comeback but sad because his seducer days will be over.no more action bad ass in the vains of Peter Deveraux and definitely no more thomas Crown like.
Here is the link to the trailer

Woow thanks for those details can't wait to see it, hope it is released where i live.
I just don't get why Pierce hasn't gotten his Taken to revive his career. The November man looked like it could have bern his Taken, actually i did like it much more than taken but I don't get why critics and general audiences didn't give it the chance to grow.
Ugh i hate when i love a film but it fails at the box office another example The msn from Uncle and the next three days. I just can't find the reason and it frustrates me.

I am worried, however that he's in a film directed by talentless hack John Moore. The man who ruined The Omen and Die Hard.

Yessss it can happen.
I apologize for calling you pessimistic, i supposed you knew how every film works
But its true many limited releases get the attention of the critics and get their oscar buzz.
That's how Jeff Bridges got his attention for Crazy heart and many oscar films start tha2000t way. Actually its most oscar films get this treatment because of their very low budget.

I'm not being negative, I just didn't know that a limited release could get the attention of the critics. I hope it gets good reviews.

Well if in that limited release gets the attention of the critics, becomes a wide release and latter possible oscar nom.
Why you have to be so negative?
Go along with it and get excited
