There's definitely a resemblance. Perhaps the younger Lorre, of 30s/40s films. But the much later films, Lorre was pushing 70. Steve doesn't not look a day past 40, if that.

Yes, I'd love that. Not only because I would like Steve to play Peter Lorre (which he is capable of), but because I want to see Steve Buscemi doing more interesting lead roles. Be it playing Peter Lorre or Nucky Thompson. I just love to see him in some good roles..

Buscemi's character in "Miller's crossing" is pure Lorre role from half century earlier. Steve always reminds me there on Peter I also think that he could be great Lorre in a biopic movie.

There is a 40s cartoon of Peter Lorre that looks like Nucky. I posted it on the Boardwalk Empire board about 2 years ago.lol

You'd be hard pressed to come up with three white men who resemble each other less than Peter Lorre, Steve Buscemi and Nucky Johnson but since Buscemi has kind of pl5b4ayed Nucky, he could do Lorre to!
