I have a strange theory. Which is that, Jim Carrey, when he gave 3 great performances, must have created some sort of brainwashing effect in the Academy's minds, so that in 1998, 1999 and 2004 they made three of the worst decisions ever in the best actor category, they gave it to Roberto Pedophile Benigni(Life is Beautiful) who was terrible, Kevin Spacey(American Beauty) who was in the most overrated film ever and did not need a second oscar. And Jamie Foxx(Ray) who was also terrible and has never been a good actor ever Mr White House Down.
Rant Over =D. The 3 movies Carrey was snubbed for are Man on The Moon(1999) Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind(2004) and The Truman Show(1998) I'm not saying he deserved 3 Oscars. But at least nominations.
