<p dir="auto">Well, King called him a bad director in "Danse Macabre", so maybe they never wanted to collaborate (although to be fair he wrote that before Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream ect.).</p>

<p dir="auto">Yes, that does seem strange, and, rather a missed opportunity, that a guy of his calibre never filmed an adaption of a Stephen King novel. I wonder if Stephen feels the same way?</p>
