I don't know why this movie gets such hate.
I just got done watching it again after buying the dvd. Hadn't seen it since my pops had the VHS back when I was about 11. And I still really enjoyed it. It was a really nice twist on the disaster movie fad of the 90s and also one of Morgan Freemans better action flicks. I liked randy quaid in this too.
Christian Slater made some great movies in the 90s and this has to be pretty high on his list.
I gave it a 7 here on IMDB.
