I never knew he directed braveheart but I knew he was in it. Hacksaw ridge has a high rating on imdb. I'll give that one a watch next.

I am pretty sure he was involved in the making of Shindlers list, even if it was just him standing on the sidelines laughing at the scenes where the jews get killed.
