Gibson to my mind, is one of the best actors turned director. He understands the language of cinema, both visually and emotionally. Like him or not, like his directed films or not, they all have strong cinematic virtue. Due to the passing of Richard Donner, Gibson may now be at the helm of
Lethal Weapon 5
.
I am not a huge fan of the LW films and the second is my favorite. However, if Gibson is directing part 5, I will be there with bells on.
