The man has won an Oscar for Directing (Braveheart) but what about a much-deserved Oscar for acting? He clearly has the talent it's just about finding the right role.

Penn is a great actor. No doubt. Mystic River tipped me into his club. If Mel does not get nominated for Professor, I hope Penn does.

Yup, for The Professor and The Mad Man but it'll not gonna be easy for him though. Sean Penn too is phenomenal in it according to Mel in one of his interviews.
