Westworld
is both one of his best roles and one of his best performances.

Uh, Is everyone here unaware of Westworld? Hopkins is a shoe-in for an Emmy nom already and he will probably end up winning. TV is the new showcase medium.
Let him do Transformers for extra cash, artistic Hopkins is on our TV screens every Sunday.
We are the children of children and we live as we are shown- "Joe vs. The Volcano"

Obama's America.
It will take some evolution for Trump's America to become clearer.

10 years ago he announced his retirement, never lived up to it and now he's featured in the new Transformers Movie? This is Trump's America alright.

It's a good point. He has been in a lot of dross of late. Likewise, so have Pacino and De Niro. They all deserve better. I hope he gets some good material for Westworld.

Same thing as Christopher Walken.
2000
It's X-ray Cat, but instead of seeing through everything, he can only see through wood.

It's not just him, there must be a lack of roles for actors in his age group.
Even Pacino, Dustin Hoffman, and Jeremy Irons are taking roles that are sort of beneath them. Liam Neeson will be next.
Ralph Fiennes seems to be immune, so far.
AVADA KEDAVRA!!!
