Talking of Jean Reno, have you watched Ronin? It's a great movie and I thought he stole every scene he was in.

I completely agree! Even as a child actress in that wonderful movie, there was nothing particularly outstanding about her performance. I was totally in it mostly for Gary Oldman who has consistently been my #1 favourite actor and total crush for decades. He's the epitome of an actor. He's portrayed just about every kind of character imaginable, and he's a consummate professional.
I'm also a very big fan of Jean Reno. Have you ever seen him in the movie Wasabi? That's another movie I'd highly,

recommend! It's a very good watch!

Mine too, but that's because of the other great actors not Natalie. Even as a little girl she had a weird vibe.

She really doesnt count in the Pro because she was so young and so amateur in such a great movie. She really is known for an adult and most of her acting isnt really worth. Many have slammed her for her terrible accent in V, and cringe in Black.

There's something about her that makes me cringe. I haven't liked her in anything that I've seen her in.

Honestly, I think that "
BLACK SWAN
" is her Best Movie and I am glad that she won the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in it. She most definitely deserved it.

I can't stand her, not as an actress (she's a lousy actress) and definitely not as a person.

Considering she had a body double do most of her work and the actual dancer didn't get a single lick of credit or even a mention by Portman when she accepted her award? Portman played it all off like that was her doing all the dancing. The woman who did the actual dancing was rightly pissed off at not getting the proper performance credit.
What Portman gets "recognition" for and hired for is because many people find her pretty. (I am not among that group). She has no range. What she gets remembered for in Black Swan is her pseudo-lesbian scene with Mila and her "bulging eyes" when she runs like a duck to stare directly into the camera for dramatic effect.
Sorry. That's not acting. Portman always plays Portman.
Plus, as I said, as a human being, I think she's a despicable, wicked person. She's vile.

She is Pretty Darn Good in that Movie.
She even Won the Best Actress Academy Award for her performance in it.

I loathe her as an individual, as a woman, and I also don't think she can act her way out of a paper bag. While I don't find her attractive, I think she gets many jobs because people find her physically appealing.
