when I think about most of the times that I have seen her she hasn't looked tall at all. so, can someone please explain to me how she has (if that is true, how tall she is)somehow managed to almost never appear tall in movies? the image I have in my mind about her is she is short. like in the movie IQ, etc. she seems short and small to me. I am really confused right now. 5' 8 is not just tall but really tall.

Tom Hanks is 6 ft. And the end of You've Got Mail where they kiss in the park, it's obvious she's at least 6" shorterso your guess is probably right. M

Celebheights has her at 5'7 max with a majority of people there thinking more like 5'6 max. She wears 4 inch heels in public. You can never accurately gauge height with heels. 5'8 is a stretch.

Just saw her on the Tonight Show.yep she is easily 5'8". They played pictionary, and w/heels on she was close to Jimmy's height and taller than Nick Kroll (who's 5'9"). She is not short at all.
