I love how the gossip media always try to blame a third person when a celeb marriage breaks up. They don't write that because there is any truth to it, they write it because it SELLS. WOuld be nice if people realized that.

I think Dennis Quaid tried to come across as being the victim in that whole scenario even though the story goes he constantly cheated on her and made it seem like she dumped him for Russell Crowe, which wasn't the case. Years later, Meg Ryan went on the record to say that Russell was not responsible for the dissolution of hers and Dennis' marriage as they had already split by then.

I have heard the same thin5b4gs, that Dennis Quaid had a pretty significant cocaine addiction for awhile, (enough to require rehab) which contributed not only to the failure of his marriage to Meg Ryan, but also to problems with his brother.
I think the old adage of walking a mile in someone else's shoes comes into play here, and then some.

After years of demoralization and secrecy, I definitely don't blame Meg for Crowe, and they seemed to be a good couple while they lasted.

False. Dennis' adultery is the reason they split. While divorce can take years, the split already occurred because of him. Thus she had the right to move on and not waste any more years on that axxhole.

"Separated" does not mean "divorced," which means that she was just as guilty of adultery as Dennis.
