This is a huge part of her problem. She relied on being young looking and girl next door cute. Not enough about her talent. That doesn't carry the box office in your old age.

Yeah, but he's a better actor than her I c5b4annot even tell you the last box office hit movie Meg Ryan was in. It's a shame. She needs to bounce back and leave her face alone. I think she got so used to being "cute Meg Ryan" in Hollywood her 50's are devastating. People like Meryl Streep never got by on looks alone.

No, Crowe wasn't married at that time. However, he was in an on-and-off relationship with Danielle Spencer for many years at that point. Spencer and Crowe would eventually marry in 2003.

Wasn't Crowe also married at the time when he and Ryan had a fling? Kind of a double standard when Ryan is ostracized and Crowe is relatively unscathed. Even Dennis Quaid who allegedly also had affairs, has come away unscathed.
