Women who don't have thick lips tend to look less strange when their lips naturally get thinner since we're used to seeing them without full lips anyway, plus she has one of those noses that turn up slightly at the end which seem to keep women looking more youthful for some reason. Obviously there are no guarantees but to my knowledge she doesn't smoke, drink heavily or do drugs, keeps reasonably fit and healthy and takes care of herself, so it's logical to deduce the likelihood that without the surgery she would've kept her beauty anyway for quite some time.
It baffles me why some people wish to risk ruining their looks like that, both men and women, I think it's a testament to how individuals often perceive themselves very differently to the way others see them.

She has a choice of whether she wants to age "naturally". When you hit 50, you may feel differently. She did not "mess herself up" by getting plastic surgery; it looks fine. She doesn't prefer to look wrinkled and saggy.
So I guess she prefers to look like the Joker then huh? She looks awful. She used to be pretty and even if she had wrinkles or sag, she still would look better without that stretched out clown mouth. Either you need your vision checked or you are in deep denial.

Meg Ryan is "reasonably healthy"??????
If she hasn't been in perfect shape her whole life, no one has.ever. She CLEARLY lives a clean lifestyle, and, from numerous articles and interviews I've read of hers, she has practiced yoga for at least the past 20 years.
She is VERY healthy, and is in top physical condition, from all visual accounts.
