He's making Expendables 4. If you follow his Instagram videos he uploaded one today whilst he was on a private jet flying to Florida where he said they are starting work on EX4 (i.e. Pre production).

He dropped out of the STX film. But unless anything changes b68he's supposed to begin filming the mob thriller Idol's Eye in February.

It's disappointing that in two years (?) since Creed finished shooting all he's done is a cameo. And he just quit that STX thriller he was going to do. Maybe the rumors about his health problems are true.

Oddly enough out of all the potential sequels mentioned Escape Plan II seems like it will be made. And it will apparently be a Stallone/Jackie Chan team up. Don't know if Arnold will return. Escape Plan didn't do too well in the U.S. but it was considered an international success. And I guess they figure with Chan involved the sequel would at the very least be an international hit too.

Chinese company won't be producing anything. It just bought a $25 million equity in two upcoming Millennium movies.

I think they should turn the series into spinoffs, since Sly doesn't have much interest now.
like having the other characters have teams of their own, with other action icons. ones that haven't been used yet.
like Arnie has a team or Bruce. maybe Jet Li in China has a team with Chow Yun Fat in it.

Ex4 is no longer a hollywood movie. Mo ths ago it was reported a chiese company will be producing with avi lerner as exec producer. So if a chiese company took the reigns it could very well be in secret.

Escape Plan 2 is going to be a VOD release with possible limited theatrical run and Stallone is not the lead in it. Expendables 4 is not shooting "secretly" anywhere because there are no "secret" shoots in Hollywood, especially in case of studios which cover their budgets by pre-selling movies many months before release, like Millennium does.
