I just recently caught Loverboy on TV. I loved this movie as a teen and rewatching it realized Kirstie always had some great dance moves. She should go far on DWTS.
My favorite though will always be Look Who's Talking. She is so funny and endearing in that movie.

Has to be North & South, I remember I was fifteen and besides an AMAZING cast, those friggin eyes and her role blew me away. Then she popped up in a Bunny's Tale, then I knew she was going to be fun to watch, also I was concerned about her stepping into the Cheers Cast, a rowdy tight knit cast, but she seemed to win everyone over and the viewers also. Comedy, Drama she really can do it all.

Aside from all of the great movies already mentioned- I always LOVED her TV movie "A Bunny's Tale"- she was so BEAUTIFUL in that movie!
I also remember I really liked her TV movie "Radiant City", but I haven't seen it in many years and I don't remember much about it except that it took place in a crowded city in the 1950's.

Even if some seemed lame I pretty much have loved anything I've ever seen her in.
My absolute favorites though would be:
Look Who's Talking (all of them)
For Richer or Poorer
Summer School
Suddenly (for a TV movie it was very good. I liked the message.)
Toothless
It Takes Two
Madhouse
I've still seen more but those are the ones I just really love. Oh, and is it just me or did anyone else really not find Drop Dead Gorgeous too entertaining? I remember watching it when I was about 10 and I just didn't like it much at all.

This is a tough call, but my favorites are Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan ( her first appearance in a motion picture ) and the miniseries North and South, in which she portrays abolitionist Virgilia Hazard. Her brother in North and South is portrayed by Star Trek: Next Generation actor and director Jonathan Frakes.
Both performances by Ms. Alley are very good. Some of her performances on Cheers as Rebecca Howe are also very good, but in my opinion Star Trek II and North and South are the standout performances of her career so far.
This was one of my all time favourite movies growing up; I just re-watched it for the first time in years and I still know almost every line. Kirstie was fantastic in it, her and Steve Gutenberg were a great match.

I very much enojoyed Look Who's Talking when it first came out (even though I was a little kid and didn't get all the jokes and references)
