I agree with you that she looks quite thin, but as Dazed pointed out, she's been going through a series of tragedies in her life, and my guess is that they no doubt have taken a toll on her.
When I see her body, it reminds me of working with ballet dancers, who are typically very fine and delicate, but very strong and flexible. She doesn't look skinny and unhealthy, she looks thin yet toned and muscular and still in shape.
I recognized her at first only because I know she's the actress so many people point to who seems to defy time. If she's had work done, she's had it done correctly and doesn't look like she's being swept through a wind tunnel. I find her very attractive. I like women with more meat on their bones, but I can appreciate the slight frame of athletic women, and I believe she takes her fitness and nutrition seriously.

I would say too thin, too fragile looking. But it's a stiff pose in an odd & unflattering frock, and there are better photos of the event where she is more animated and looks like herself. So what do I know - not a lot I guess.

I saw video of her "posing" and the only thing that seemed questionable to me was that she seemed almost unable to move - be it her body or her face. That might be due to training for acting and she knows how to hold poses for great lengths of time.
To me, she reminds me of how ballerinas tend to have very slight frames, and they're very small-boned and delicate, but they have a lot of muscle tone, strength and definition. She definitely looks slender, but she doesn't look sickly or unhealthy.

I thought she looked great. I always have. Also, with all of that going on in her life, she may well have lost weight from the stress.
I think she's beautiful, and she's always gotten some sort of flack for also always looking young.
It took me a minute to figure out that was her, but I can still tell. To me, she looks great as always. Also, she isn't "thin" but notice how muscular she is. She's very lean, and that usually translates to being healthy and fit, especially if that's her norm. Skinny would be Eugenia Cooney. Eugenia is skeletal and looks horrific. Kate is trim and petite.
